Wyvonnee graduated from Washington School of Art, Port Washington, New York with honors in commercial and fine art. Her love for historical architecture was developed while she was living in Spain, France, Turkey, England and Germany. This experience also allowed her the opportunity to study the works of old masters in some of the great museums of Europe.
After working in other media, she developed her own unique technique with permanent color inks, which has become her favorite medium. The current series of Victorian homes and historical buildings are from the central United States and represents some of the best examples of that period.
When not in her studio, she spends her time gardening and uses a lot of the flowers she grows in her artwork. She finds working in the gardens a relaxing pleasure and enjoys planting the seeds and nurturing the plants throughout the season.
Wyvonnee’s paintings are her tribute to the past, present and future generations who will continue to preserve this nation’s heritage. It is her wish to share her delight in these paintings with all who see them.
